Improvement Skill Workshops are focused learning sessions that introduce practical tools, methods, and strategies from continuous improvement. Each workshop explores a topic or skill that participants can immediately apply to strengthen their work and their organization.
Our November workshop will focus on data visualization.
Do you have data in hand but aren’t sure the best way to show it?
You’ve done the hard work of collecting and analyzing your data. How you present it shapes the meaning others draw from it and how they use it.
Data visualizations carry much of that influence. Each one guides what your reader notices, what they compare, and who is included. This interactive workshop helps you make those choices with care. Through conversation and group activities, we’ll work through the questions that separate a chart that works from one that doesn’t: Who is this for? What should they take away? Can everyone read it? Who might it leave out?
Whether you communicate data through reports, presentations, or dashboards, you’ll leave more prepared to make intentional decisions.
This workshop is designed and facilitated by Elizabeth DiLuzio. Liz is an evaluator and teacher with doctoral training in adult education and extensive experience helping nonprofits and public agencies turn data into clear, credible reporting.
