More about Omar
Omar’s journey with SSN began in 2018 as a participant in our Youth Advisory Council, which eventually became the Elevating Youth Voice program that he continued to support as a Youth Programming Intern throughout high school. He's taken on various roles to support the EYV program throughout the years and was the Program Coordinator for our 2021-2022 Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) Project.
Omar graduated as a Posse & SEO Scholar from Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in American Studies. He is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Baruch College's Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.

We asked: Outside of your career, what is your proudest achievement?
Omar answered: I love to travel, and I am blessed to have had the opportunity to visit a handful of American cities, Caribbean islands, and European coasts. My next stops are the Middle East and Asia. My end goal is to experience a great amount of our world as we know it, and I’m making great progress!
